3 constants, formulas and guards
A single-page corporate site for a firm providing investment services to professional clients and eligible counterparties. The design brief is restraint; the build brief is correctness. Where the FGFC site answers the same category with ornament, this one answers it with plainness — a neutral grotesque, mono for data, and a page that ships almost nothing to the browser.
Offline
A single-page corporate site for a firm serving professional clients. Not linked from this page; claims are made against the source.
Every regulated fact declared once, so the page cannot disagree with itself.
What was built, and for whom.

en
Single page with a hand-authored token system, sticky header, mobile menu and scroll reveal — and no other client JavaScript.
Each one starts with something that was broken.
- 01
The registered name has one home
The failure
A regulated firm's legal entity name, domain and regulatory description appear in the header, the footer, the legal routes, the metadata and the structured data. Typed into markup, they drift — and on a disclosure site a drifted legal name is not a typo, it is a compliance problem.
The decision
Put every such fact in one module and have the markup read from it, so the full legal entity, the brand short form and the regulatory description each exist exactly once. Correcting one is a single edit that cannot miss a location, and the module carries a note recording that the launch details were confirmed by Operations rather than assumed by the builder.

name (full legal entity), shortName (conversational), domain, tagline, description — declared once - constantsrc/data/site.js
Header note: “All launch placeholders have been confirmed by Operations.”
- 02
Restraint as the design, not as a shortage of ideas
The failure
Corporate disclosure sites default to either stock-photo blandness or a brochure that overstates. Both read as a firm with something to prove.
The decision
Commit to plainness and make it deliberate: one neutral grotesque, mono reserved strictly for data, hairline rules, and generous spacing in place of ornament. The page's confidence comes from what it does not do, which is also why it ships almost no JavaScript.

Inter + IBM Plex Mono; mono reserved for figures and labels
Every animation, with what it does when asked for less.
The last column is the one worth reading. “Respects reduced motion” is easy to assert and easy to skip, so where it is not true here, it says so.
Scroll reveal
On intersection, once
Ease-out
Content renders settled.
Sticky header state
On scroll threshold
Short transition
Unaffected — a state change, not travel.
What it was built on, what is claimed, and what is not.
Framework
Astro 5, static-first
HTML-first by default, which for a disclosure page is the whole requirement.
Styling
Hand-authored custom properties
No UI framework. The system is small enough that a framework would have been more code than the design.
Content
One data module
Copy, contact and regulatory details in a single place — see the technique.
Script
Header state, menu, reveal
Three behaviours. Everything else is the document.
Claimed — and how to check it
Every regulated fact is declared once in a single module
src/data/site.js holds the legal entity, short form, domain and description.
Client JavaScript is limited to three behaviours
The scripts referenced from the layout.
Not claimed
- No traffic figure and no performance measurement.
- No regulatory claim. The firm's descriptions are the client's own and were confirmed by their Operations team, not authored here.
- No accessibility audit.
