About me

Kristiyan Rusev

Senior UI/UX designer

I work across brand identity, websites, design systems and internal tools, mostly for trading businesses.

My background started in web and graphic design. Today, my work includes page structure, detailed interfaces, component systems and developer handoff. On selected projects, I also build the application or frontend.

I'm a Senior UI/UX Designer at Internovus and a co-founder of Elektrocode.

Skills and toolkit

  • Interface design and systems

Responsive layouts, reusable components, variants and interface states. I define the shared rules alongside the pages that use them.

    Tools

    • Figma
    • Figma Variables
    • Framer
  • UX and structure

Information architecture, flows and responsive layouts, as shown in the Zenstox mobile navigation, the Finansero account-tier selector and the Langround claim flow.

    Tools

    • Figma
  • Brand and visual design

Marks, wordmarks, typography and visual direction. My identity work often develops alongside the website it needs to support.

    Tools

    • Illustrator
    • Photoshop
    • Figma
    • Spline
  • Development and automation

Frontend development, browser motion and internal applications. In Creative Builder, an image model makes the artwork, and headlines, logos and legal copy are added afterwards as separate layers.

How I work

  • Establish the requirements

For a redesign, I review the existing pages and identify the structure, content and implementation constraints that need to shape the work.

  • Design the repeated parts with the pages

Typography, variables and components develop alongside the screens. The pages show where the shared rules work and where a specific treatment is needed.

  • Document what the build needs

I specify component states, layouts and responsive behavior for handoff. When I also develop the project, those decisions continue into the code.
